Sno-Way  Technologies, LLC was conceived by Dave in the fall of 2003 when he and his wife, Melissa, were sick and tired of parking outside in the elements scraping the windshield everyday, even though they had a two car garage.

Dave had looked for a product on the internet and in stores and used many of them to find they either ripped, blew away or got soaking wet with ice and snow. They were also very inconvenient because they required you to walk around both sides of the car to open and close both doors to install and take off the product. This was too time consuming considering they were always in a hurry to get to work in the morning and tired when they got home.

Dave is an electrical engineer graduate from Purdue University with a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis. He tested materials for 2 years to find a material that would be heavy enough not to blow away and also be impervious to the ice and snow. The 3/16" thick Neoprene solves these problems.

Dave filed for a patent in January of 2004 and started the business in November of 2004, with sales exceeding 1,000 in less than 3 months.

This is a family owned and operated business in Indianapolis, IN. Dave and Melissa manufactured and shipped the product all over the United States as well as receiving placement in Marsh and Joe O'Malia's Food Markets in the Indianapolis area. Since the business has grown to more than what their garage can handle, they have teamed with another local family owned business.  Metro Products, a division of Metro Plastics Technologies, Inc. will handle the manufacturing and distribution of the No2Snow Eliminator for Sno-Way Technologies, LLC. You can see their full line of innovative products at www.metro-products.com.

Charitable Contributions:

In August 2001, after the loss of their 16 month old daughter, Madelynn, Dave and Melissa created an endowment through the American Heart Association called the "Legacy of Life". A percentage of all profits, from the sales of the No2Snow Eliminators, will be donated to the Legacy of Life fund to benefit Congenital Heart Defect Research.

Heart Disease is not only the number one killer among Men and Women:

1. Congenital Heart Defects is the number one cause of death in children under the age of one. "Congenital" means the child is born with heart defects with no known cause.

2. 1 out of 10 Children with a  CHD will not survive.

3. Five times the funding is spent on pediatric cancer research than on CHD research, yet 2 times as many children will die from CHD.

4. Congenital Heart Defects is the number one birth defect.

For more information go to the American Heart Association website:

OR visit: http://www.Madelynn.homestead.com for more information on this incredible endowment where all donations go to 100% of the endowment with no overhead. The endowment currently has a total of $800,000 that has been raised by CHD families all over the United States in support of CHD research. The funds raised will be invested and annually the interest off the principle amount will be granted out to CHD research projects via the American Heart Association.

Please help us support this worthy cause, God Bless.
